The next 2 Saturdays are Christmas Eve and New Years Eve, so we won’t be having our regularly scheduled events on those days (venue is probably closed anyway).

The next casual will be on January 7th and the next GRRanbat will probably be on ~~January 14th~~ January 21st.

1st time at Gamer Doc

For the first time, grapsf.com met at Gamer Doc. Since we are bringing our own equipment now the cost to play was just $5 a day. Hopefully the new low price of gatherings will mean an increase in attendance, seems to be working so far judging by the great turnout we had Saturday!

The venue is great with the exception of some drunk guy touching my girlfriend and creeping her out. But I have alerted the staff that there will be a public beating next time so hopefully they deal with him.

Also painfully obvious was the fact that most of us would like to stay later than 9pm, hopefully they can do something for us there. I would hate to stop playing here just on account of that one thing.

Skynet has stupidly scheduled a birthday party in our room Saturday.

So we don’t have the room until 5pm tomorrow but Sam is knocking $5 off everyone’s admission and buying us food.

We are free to play on the few other crappy setups that are not in our room till then.

Sorry for the inconvenience and the late start for this event. I scheduled it with the assumption that they would honor their agreement to keep the room reserved for us.

Marvel Vs Capcom 3 is out!

MvC3 is out in full force! Basically until Singe showed up wanting to play super, EVERY TV at Skynet gaming was MvC3.

I must admit that despite my own dislike and ineptitude at vs games, and how broke I am, even I want to pick this up now (I am a sucker for She-Hulk). I had a really great time getting my butt kicked.

Let’s have a tourney for it! It’ll be good practice for the upcoming Michigan Masters 4!
